New Albums

Found Objects ALBUM COVER.png

This album features spoken word and other ‘found’ Public Domain audio sources. We took these recordings, chopped them up, cleaned them up, and set them to music.

Voices include: Orson Welles, Steve Jobs, Groucho Marx, Sonny Bono, Bruce Lee, Karloff & Lugosi, and Roger McGuinn (of the Byrds). Other sources include a Documentary about ‘The Scientific Method”, and the movie Teenagers From Outer Space.

Infantile Reactions , taken from an old High School tutorial video teaching students how to ‘Act your Age”.

You Think I’m Mad, Don’t You? - Featuring Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, with dialogue taken from several PD films.

This album is full of cover versions. We chose songs that we love, not necessarily well known songs, and songs that we felt we could do something very different with. You will find:

Elvis Costello’s Pump it Up done as an epic progressive swing,
David Bowie’s Modern Love as a moody ballad,
Ultravox’s punk classic Young Savage as an orchestral torch song - you get the idea.

There’s also
Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit,
Deep Purple’s Child In Time,
Pink Floyd’s If,
Bob Dylan’s Masters Of War,
Talking Heads Life During Wartime,
Lou Reed’s Perfect Day,
Peter Gabriel’s Solsbury Hill,
Sick Puppies War,
Nat King Cole’s Nature Boy.
